Alicia Keys


Alicia Keys was only 20 years old when she completed her first album Songs in A Minor. It was a massive hit selling over 12 million copies worldwide and also contained the song 'Fallin’ which won her a Grammy award for being Best Song of the Year when it was released in 2001. Being classically trained in a variety of instruments, Keys writes her own songs which has led to critical acclaim due to her variety of musical genres. Her most recent album The Element of Freedom released in 2009 includes the smash hit ‘Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down’.
