Jimi Hendrix


Jimi Hendrix was an American guitarist and singer/songwriter. He is often credited as being one of the most important and influential musicians of his era and is often considered the best electric guitarist of all time. Hendrix died at the age of 27 in 1970 leaving behind an astounding number of recordings given he was only active 7 years. The majority of his work has been released posthumously, the most recent being Valleys of Neptune (2010). His best known songs include Foxy Lady, Hey Joe, Voodoo Child (Slight Return), Crosstown Traffic and Purple Haze.
